University of Wyoming MBA Program
Laramie, WY, November 12, 2018 – Dr. Joseph McGinley, Founder & CEO of Casper, Wyoming-based McGinley Orthopedic Innovations LLC (MOI), will speak to University of Wyoming MBA students Friday, November 16th as the featured speaker of the Executive Speaker Series. MOI’s patented and FDA-approved IntelliSense© medical devices are revolutionizing orthopedic surgery practices worldwide. The company has attracted over $15 million of capital from private investors across the U.S., and is in process of raising $4 million more from Wyoming investors via the state’s new Wyoming Invests Now (“WIN”) equity crowdfunding program. WIN greatly simplifies the process by which Wyoming businesses can solicit equity investment from private investors in the state. In support of WIN, and with the approval of the Wyoming Secretary of State’s Office and the Wyoming Business Council, MOI launched the WIN Supporter Network for Wyoming firms that provide services to Wyoming businesses such as banks, law firms, accounting firms, and marketing firms.
UW’s MBA Executive Speaker Series is hosted by the College of Business’s MBA program, and invites business leaders from across the nation to hold round-table discussions with MBA students in the College’s Boardroom. MBA candidates will have the opportunity to learn from Dr. McGinley about entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial finance, and the invention, patenting and marketing of disruptive medical technologies.
The University of Wyoming MBA Program’s Executive Speaker Series opens the door to many employment and mentorship opportunities for the MBA’s, based on longstanding corporate relationships that make UW’s MBA curriculum and graduates attractive to employers across the country.
