    Your Membership Matters

    November 18, 2016

We are wrapping up a busy fall where hundreds of alumni and friends have joined us at multiple receptions, gatherings, corporate events and Homecoming providing us an opportunity to share about the University and the work we do to help UW accomplish its goals and aspirations. Hosting these events was only possible due to the support of our members.

Membership matters and I wanted to reach out to invite you to participate in the UWAA 2016 Membership Drive by renewing your UWAA membership or to join for the first time! Our mission is to help alumni stay involved with UW for life. Current UWAA members have shared how they have seen first-hand how the UWAA makes a positive impact for UW by:

    • Building a community of alumni advocates with shared interests and passion for UW
    • Expanding career connections between alumni and employers
    • Funding $230,000 of student scholarships
    • Aiding in prospective student recruitment

Membership also allows the UWAA to expand involvement in university advocacy work and helps assist UW in fulfilling its mission of providing a world-class education, conducting ground-breaking research and acting as an economic and academic catalyst for the state of Wyoming.

In recognition of the significant contribution you make to UW, we’ve made membership more valuable, including offering a subscription to the UWyo, career support resources, insurance programs and discounts on athletic tickets, travel and moving services, and retail merchandise!

You may join or renew your UWAA Membership in one of two ways: (1) Online at uwyo.edu/alumni or (2) Call the UWAA office at (307) 766-4166. We sincerely appreciate your consideration to join thousands of Cowboys and Cowgirls as members of the UWAA, many who have made life-long commitments to UW by becoming life members of the UW Alumni Association.
