    The University of Wyoming offers a world-class education in the small community of Laramie, Wyoming. Founded in 1886, the university each year welcomes more than 14,000 students from all 50 states and 90 countries.     Getting involved during your time at college is a great way to make friends, build skills, and boost your resume. The University of Wyoming offers more than 270 Recognized Student Organizations across campus for students to get involved in, and quite a few of these are based out of the College of Business. The College of Business houses RSO’s that relate to almost every field that is offered here – Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing, and Management – and even offers general topic clubs to learn more about all these fields and leadership skills that come with them.

    We’ve compiled a list of College of Business Recognized Student Organizations, to help you find your fit:

    • Alpha Kappa Psi – Beta Nu Chapter
      • As a professional co-ed business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi focuses on providing its members with professional activities such as guest speakers, corporate tours and resume/interview workshops, to prepare brothers for their futures in business.

      • The American Marketing Association is a professional association that serves as a forum to connect like-minded individuals and foster knowledge sharing, provide resources, and support marketing practice and leadership around the community.

    • Beta Alpha Psi – Delta Alpha Chapter
      • Beta Alpha Psi serves as the premiere professional accounting, finance and information systems organization, providing interaction between students, faculty, and professionals, and fostering lifelong growth, service and ethical conduct.

    • Collegiate DECA
      • Collegiate DECA prepares students for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, management and entrepreneurship. Students have opportunities to gain a competitive edge in the global job market, develop skills, and compete at conferences.

      • The Financial Management Association seeks to assist in the professional, educational, and social development of college students interested in finance, banking, and investments.

      • The Global Business Club is a group of students interested in the field of global business. Students gain an understanding of the diversity of global society, and research opportunities to visit international businesses.

      • The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the world’s largest membership organization devoted to advancing the HR profession and members’ careers through professional recognition, leadership and networking opportunities.

      • The Student Center for the Public Trust is a network of college students who demonstrate a commitment to ethical leadership. Chapters provide students with opportunities to participate in trainings, community service, and business ethics competitions.

    • Phi Beta Lambda* (Soon to be Formed)
      • PBL’s brings business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovation leadership and career development programs. The organization focuses on leadership development, academic competitions, and educational programs.
